Sneak Preview: Dystopia, Then Deportation

For more than a year, Dr. Nana Afua Yeboah and a team of experts have been researching racism in immigration court. Get a sneak preview and much more at “Dystopia, Then Deportation: Systemic Denial of ‘Dignity, Freedom & Justice’ for Black Migrants in the United States,” a joint event by Ohio Immigrant Alliance, Cameroon Advocacy Network, and Mauritanian Network for Human Rights in US on December 12 (2-5pm ET) in NYC.

The event includes a plenary and strategy sessions, with wisdom and leadership from B.T., a Mauritanian man seeking asylum in the US; A.F., a Cameroonian man granted asylum; A.T., a Mauritanian man deported from the US.; Dr. Nancy Adossi, migration expert; Houleye Thiam, Mauritanian Network for Human Rights in the US; Daniel Tse, Cameroon Advocacy Network; Breanne Palmer, Esq., AJA Advocacy Solutions; Malado Barro, Afrilingual Cooperative; Janvieve Williams Comrie, AfroResistance; Nicole Hewitt-Cabral, Community Action Strategies; and Dr. Afua Yeboah.
