Man Dies in Ohio ICE Custody

David Hernandez Colula, a 34 year-old man detained in the Youngstown, Ohio immigration jail, has died. Preliminary reports indicate that his death may have due to suicide. The Cleveland Plain Dealer wrote that an outside group had recommended that this facility install better suicide prevention programs just last year. Read ICE’s press release here: NEOCC2-21
