Sara Hamdi has been a volunteer advocate with the Ohio Immigrant Alliance since 2017, and joined the staff in 2026 as an Organizer.

Sara has lobbied Congress on the DREAM Act, DACA, humane immigration policy, and stopping and reversing deportations. In 2024, Sara and her family were part of OIA’s “Broken Hope” book delivery on Capitol Hill.

Sara also has over a decade of customer service and management experience.
