Jimena Horta Ballesteros is a photographer, Spanish teacher, and organizer with the Northeast Ohio Worker Center. Based in Cleveland Heights, she is hosting a pop-up shop at Hexagon Books World Literature on Sunday, July 26, from 2-5 pm. Store owner Manuel Chinchilla will pair books with Jimena’s gorgeous photographs of the Caribbean. Hexagon Books is the only local bookstore specializing in minority and foreign authors. The store also offers language classes in Spanish, French, Italian, and Japanese.

A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Ohio Immigrant Alliance, in support of Haitian-Ohioans during this very difficult time.
