Today, the Ohio Immigrant Alliance joined 400 national, state & local groups urging Congress to protect Dreamers, TPS, and DED holders by passing legislation that puts them on a path to green cards and full citizenship.
Also signing the letter from the Buckeye state are the Ohio Association of College Admissions Counseling, Advocates for Basic Legal Equality, Lorain Ohio Immigrant Rights Association, Intercommunity Justice and Peace Center, and SEIU Local 1. The House Judiciary Committee is set to mark up bills addressing the status of these immigrants on May 22, 2019.
